Get Ready For GDPR! Compliance Audit Special Offer!!
Rob Andrews, Director and Head of our Commercial Department is currently advising a number of business owners on how to comply with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulations (“GDPR”) due to become law on 25 May 2018.
In a series of Breakfast Briefings, Rob has been explaining in practical terms what businesses need to focus on to comply, and to assist them to focus on the facts rather than the fiction surrounding some aspects of the news on what GDPR is!
Held at our offices here in Bridgnorth, starting at 8am with coffee and croissants, Rob then gives a 45 minute briefing to attendees, and then deals with questions raised. The Q and A session has proved to be wide ranging, and demonstrates real concerns which business owners have about the perceived burden of compliance, and for example what GDPR means in the context of B2B marketing, and for holding employees data during and after their employment. The meetings are free to attend, but booking is essential in view of the high demand for places.
Our next Briefing is being held on 20th February.
For attendees of the Briefings, we have a special reduced fee offer on an Audit to assist the business owner understand in what areas they need to introduce or amend policy documents, consents, privacy notices and HR/Staff handbooks.
The Audit involves the completion of a questionnaire by the client, who also provides current documentation and other information, so we can then produce a report on areas of action needed. Some documents can be provided within the audit fee, other more extensive documents such as the key Data Protection Policy which all businesses should have, made involve further but fixed fees.
To take advantage of the reduced fee offer, please book in on one of our Briefings – the next available one is on 20 March. A special discount code is available in the delegate pack.
